On April 24th, 2025, I shared my stomach cancer story in the European Parliament.
My speech was a part of the ENTERO Policy Event at the European Parliament, organized by Digestive Cancers Europe (DiCE), which brought together key policymakers and experts to discuss rising cases among people under 50, highlighting aggressive forms like colorectal and gastric cancer.
During the speech, I shared the personal story of the struggles of my loved ones, all the way from the day of my diagnosis until long months after finishing the treatment. We faced the darkest moments of our lives during my sickness, and I decided to share it as I believe that true stories can change the fate of history (influencing politicians’ decisions, among other things).
Hopefully, it will make a change!
If you want to learn more about my journey of stomach cancer, take a look at my book “There Is No Tomorrow” described below.

“There Is No Tomorrow. How Stomach Cancer Saved My Life” is a personal story about how a terminal illness can heal the spirit.
