In 130 pages, I captured a year of my life with stomach cancer.

I wrote the first chapter of this book on the day of my diagnosis. Then I continued writing in the hospital, recovering from chemotherapy at home and during walks, where I dictated loose thoughts into my phone’s speaker. My reflections took shape as short, chronologically arranged threads. As a result, the book consists of 57 short chapters. Below, you can read five selected chapters from the book „There Is No Tomorrow. How Stomach Cancer Saved My Life.”

“There Is No Tomorrow. How Stomach Cancer Saved My Life” is a personal story about how a terminal illness can heal the spirit.
